Breana O’Connor 

 

Breana grew up in Los Angeles with parents in the film and music industry. Since a child, she’s always been inspired by the hair and makeup team on movie sets, and loved being backstage before a show, watching the musicians transfigure. She began showing so much interest in beauty—and was inspired by the way it transformed people from the inside out—that she started doing hair and makeup for her school productions, and would beg her parents to bring her to work so she could be on set. It became apparent that this was her destiny, and she had her first assisting job at the age of 13 on a music video set.

 

After graduating high school, she attended cosmetology school and graduated from the Sassoon Academy in 2012. Once she received her cosmetology license, she moved to San Francisco for a 2 year mentor-ship—studying the art of hairstyling more extensively—then moved back to Los Angeles to be back on set. She's had the pleasure of working with actors such as Joey King, Luke Pasqualino, Karla Souza, Danny Trejo, Tobin Bell, and Robert Pine.

 

Since then, she's found a knack for the fashion industry, working on editorial and e-commerce shoots and has had her looks appear in photos featured in Vogue and Cakemag.com.
